THE STORY SO FAR

And so, I find myself back at the animation table, agonizing over the minutia that goes with making this film. Is the colour balance between shots correct? Why am I seeing more instances of flicker now than I was during the winter? Are the puppets going to hold up for another 4 months? Is this story worth telling or am I just wasting my time? The technical problems are all solvable but that last one is much more daunting. My tastes tend to fall on the absurd side of the viewing spectrum. Those low budget B-movies of the 50's remain a huge influence and BROKEN is my first truly personal tribute to that lost era. But will it translate for a modern audience? As with any film, I guess I won't know until it's finished.
