I LOVE THE DEAD

Sculpting this final puppet has been a joy. Its design is very different from what I would normally do. I find that with a lot of animation, everyone develops a distinctive style. You can always tell when you're watching something from Tim Burton, Rankin Bass or Aardman. Even Laika has established its own look. With Broken I am trying to move away from my comfort zone when it comes to design and execution. I'll admit, I haven't strayed too far from home but I'd like to think that these baby steps will lead to something completely different next time.
