THE FINAL MIX

I have completed the sound edit on BROKEN and am ready to begin mixing it all together.

40 audio tracks containing the voices, sound effects and ambience made up the final sound edit but after some premixing I was able to bring the total number of tracks down to 27. This will help make the final mix a little more manageable. One thing I will not be adding to the film is music. Being a huge admirer of film music, this is a major decision for me. However, I found that all attempts at adding music to BROKEN sounded forced, unnecessary and often detrimental to the film's impact. I am now just days from completion.
